I think that overall this place has the best local menu in Taos. Food is great and well prepared. Service is good. I have eaten here many times and have yet to have a bad meal. Not overpriced. Fortunately it is not a place that the tourist know about even though it is right next to the church. Always cars in the lot. As local I have tried all the places recommended to the tourist trade and the Ranchos Grill beats them all hands down including a highly recommended place in El Prado and a place neat the post office downtown.
Absolutely the best enchiladas I’ve ever had! Everything, from the chips and salsa to our entrees, was so flavorful and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend the Ranchos Plaza Grill to anyone who wants really great Mexican food!
