Underwhelming. The advertisement sounded promising, so we took the plunge. The restaurant was empty except for a half dozen folks at the bar. Ordered a spinach dip appetizer that was decent. D1 had the filet, a baked potato, and cauliflower. D2 had the chicken with mushroom sauce, baked potato and cauliflower (vege options are cauliflower, beets, it carrots). D3 had beef stew. Chicken was good. Filet was small, but ok. Beef stew was quasi edible. The baked potatoes were either underdone or a day old. Cauliflower was dry and poorly seasoned. Neither of us ate more than a mouthful. I’d suggest ordering a meat only and no sides. All in all we were disappointed and I apologized for suggesting we try.
Poor service, bad food, took forever! Food should not take that long. It was pre-prepared kind and a burger! Waited over an hour for food! Glass of wine was three sips… $11! Very disappointed b/c Edelweiss is great! Hope it was a bad night…
