The BBQ Combo. Meaty and delicuous
Excellent!. We dined at Casa de Valdez two times during our recent stay in Taos. The restaurant is lovely. The food was delicious, and the service was very good. We ate steak, brisket, and chicken. We order our steaks well done, and they have great chefs who can cook a well done steak without burning it. We will definitely return to eat here the next time we are in Taos, and we will recommend it to our friends who visit Taos.
Great Sopapillas!! Great Ribs!!!. I love going to this restaurant, everything I order is always so tasty, delicious and recommend Casa de Valdez to all my friends and family! Try the Short Ribs, they are very good. As for the New Mexican dishes they are also delicious and come with freshly made sopapilla with honey and I consider them the best in Taos!
Best ribs. I don’t get a craving for much but the ribs at this place are so good I can be sitting at home just craving them. Another favorite is the steak and shrimp combo. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the shrimp is fabulous. I don’t think you can go wrong with any item you order. It is obvious the owner takes great pride in what food is served. Casa de Valdez is my favorite. The atmosphere is great. The place is clean and the service is excellent. You can’t go wrong by eating there
Delicioso/Delicious. Casa de Valdez on South Santa Fe Road almost missed it. An A frame building next to hardware store. You can tell owners take great pride in their restaurant. It’s beautiful inside with the most amazing shiny latillo tile I have ever seen. The food is amazing, lots of choices (New Mexican, BBQ, & Steaks), and great prices. Service is excellent!
Excellent. My family of six dined in at Casa de Valdez on Christmas Eve. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly and curtious staff. The atmosphere is beautiful and clean. We’ve had the opportunity to try multiple New Mexican restaurants in Taos and Casa de Valdez is our local favorite. It’s very family friendly and offers everything from steaks and ribs to traditional New Mexican cuisines. We had the nacho steak dish with green chile, stuffed sopapillas, ribs and the prime rib special and they all were delicious. We will be back!
