WORST PLACE EVER!! We were…. WORST PLACE EVER!! We were treated so poorly it was ridiculous!! It clearly states on their menu that they put sesame seeds on the pizza so if you have allergies (like my daughter) we told them when we place the order. The guy who served us brought out the pizza with sesame seeds all over it!! When we told him we couldn’t eat it. He asked what do you want me to do? Ridiculous!! Really!! So we asked for another pizza w/out sesame seeds. We spent a totally of 2 1/2 hours waiting for food that we ended up taking to go and they didn’t even care. We will never be coming back!!
Great local spot!. A local Taos resident recommendeded this restaurant and we loved it! We had ordered the all meat pizza and it was wonderful. The crust was perfect!
Looked good but dissapointed. After a hard day skiing we looked forward to try Taos Pizza Out Back. The customer service was really great and helped us with our to-go order. Including sides and desserts. The pizza looked great and fresh. For those of you who are pizza connoisseurs, you may find the taste flat. We found the sauce with a unusual taste, almost like taco meat. Maybe cumin was added but it lacked the Italian taste you might expect from a sauce. The crust was soft but also lacked a definite taste. The Greek salads were good as well as the carrot cake. I would go back just due to the friendly service. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza wasn’t terrible but given the way it looked and smelled I was expecting a lot more from the taste. I would give it a 6 out of 10.

Good stuff! My husband and I each had a calzone, mine customized with substitutions. The sesame seeds added a nice twist to the crust. Much more food than we could comfortably eat so if you go, make sure you’re very hungry. Contrary to other reviews, we found the service to be attentive and friendly. Yes, it takes more time for the food to arrive than at other pizza joints, but we found the wait worthwhile.
Great pizza, fun, comfortable place.. I love the pizza here. On par with Pizaos, but different. Nice patio area. Just wish they would let me bring my dog. Its Taos, after all!
Best pizza. Pizza was fantastic. Sangria & beer yummy. Wait staff was very helpful. We just felt like we were being rushed to leave. We had just arrived in Taos & wanted to hang out. It wasn’t particularly busy… Overall, we will loved it.
