So Good!. We’ve been in Taos several days now eating dinner nightly after a long day of skiing. Thus far, The Gorge has been our favorite bringing Americana dishes with a New Mexico twist. D1 had a bacon burger with fresh toppings he declared as better than the filet he had the night before. D2 had the pasta special which happened to be grilled chicken Alfredo with a pepper blended into the sauce. The grilled chicken was perfect, moist and well flavored, melting in your mouth. You can definitely mess up pasta, either old or under cooked, but no problems here. We ended the evening sharing a slice of tiramisu which was light and creamy, a perfect ending to our heavier meal. So far, our favorite eats on our trip, reasonably priced too. Hope to try it again before our week is through.
My favorite place in Taos. Im from Oklahoma but every time I’m in Taos I have to eat here. The staff is good. The food is great. There salsa, guacamole, and queso are a must try!!!!
Not a horrible place. Taos sucks for options, the Gorge menu is silly. Stupid mistakes in the food prep, i.e. Bison patty so raw the fat isn’t rendered. Overpriced, have to deal with the idiots running the place. On par for the land of lazy and especially hippie Taos.
The food here is marginal. This is a bar. The only reason I can think of to go here is if you are interested in brushing shoulders with a bunch of dreadlock bedecked trustafarians who are consumed with tipping back pretentiously named local microbrews.

This place was fantastic. Easy chill atmosphere, friendly and prompt service, food cheap and great. Crispy chicken wrap. Yum!!!
I am very disappointed in this restaurant. My boyfriend and I walked in and were told that it wouldn’t be more than a 5 minute wait so we decided to go to the bar and order drinks beforehand. First, the bar tender barely acknowledged our existence and for some reason would not come get my money so I could have my change. Second, we sat at the bar for 30 minutes with no service and then someone finally came up to us and said that she thought we were with another party. Third, she takes us to our table where we wait yet another TWENTY minutes for service that never came. Obviously we went elsewhere. We will never be back to this restaurant.
