Good sushi, has a cool laid back diner ambience. you have a view of ABQ while you eat. get a combo, inexpensive a filling.
We love sushi and this is our go-to neighborhood place. Have gone since openned. Never disappointed. Surprised to see a negative review. Service seems strong now.
Monthly visitor. This has become our go-to drop in neighborhood place when folks are hungry, don’t want to wait long, and we want something basic and fresh. I eat sushi, my family eats the cooked food. everything us usually good. Not excitingly great, but reliably OK. Fresh fish presented properly. Enough choices for me. Nice saki menu. Fine service, friendly staff.
Nothing fishy here. Been here just twice and overall the quality was good for what I had. My complaint with SK, as well as other sushi restaurants in the SW, is the selections are not as diverse or plentiful for the basics as back east. For specialty rolls the options surpassed those for just sushi and plain rolls. The house salad was fresh with a very well prepared and tasty ginger dressing.The service was very nice and attentive, and the ambience was very pleasant and comfortable.

Not great. The waitstaff at this location is beyond fabulous! however, the sushi was almost all sauce. it was COVERED, DRENCHED and SWIMMING in sauce. we even had the waiter mention it to the chef, with no difference when our next roll came. beyond disappointed.
Yummy Yummy Roll. So as I am new to the sushi scene, after lots and lots of pressure from my girlfriends I took the leap. Let me say that it was fantastic! Now I didn’t go all the way yet and went with a shrimp tempura roll but I’ll slowly get out there. Service was kind of slow but the chefs were amazing and I will definitely back. Sake made it easy to get over my sushi anxiety!!!
