Have enjoyed the pizza here on numerous occasions and stopped in this afternoon for a take out order. Ordered a few slices to take home and a meatball sub, pizza was fantastic as usual but the meatball sub has to be the absolute worst I’ve ever eaten. Meatballs were extremely dry and had almost no flavor whatsoever. I figured being an Italian restaurant they would have a great homemade meatball, they have to be frozen foodservice Sysco brand or something. Very disappointing
Love marries pizza! Im an extremely picky eater but this place uses quality ingredients and makes everything homemade! the soups are delicious! the pasta and pizza is delicious and on sunday they have 2 for 1 spaghetti Sunday! you cant beat that!
I hadn’t been to Mario’s in a while, but decided to give it another try. Should have gone somewhere else. Customer service was so-so. With all the Mario’s locations, this place cannot maintain good quality, and was very disappointed. We decided never to go here again.
One star at best September 2014 Marios lost a good customer. Mario’s used to be a good place. The service and food have gone way downhill. I only have experience with the san pedro/uptown location. I have ordered 4 times recently for delivery. 3 of the deliveries were wrong. One was the wrong food than what I ordered and the other 2 orders had a item missing. I was charged for the items that were missing.. I ordered all these on the internet portal of marios. The drivers I have encountered are very nice and have brought back the missing items 2x. The other time I was to receive a $5 credit. I had to ask for the credit as it was not placed on my account. Now on the receipt there is a note that says that I have already received a $5 credit and not to give another. The person I spoke with on the phone made me mad. She acted like it was my fault that I had received the wrong order. Very unpleasant to deal with on the phone and did not apologize. I want to reiterate that the drivers are very nice and redeliver the missing items. Knowing that I now have a note on my account I am not comfortable using marios again. I will be ordering from Jason’s deli as they have always given me the food that I ordered and treated me with respect.
Owner is terrible.. I have been working for Marios for quite some time now and the worst owner is Joe Burgarello. He comes in with his entire family and expects everyone to cater to him, his wife makes the cooks cook her and her family food and on top of that this is happening while there are tons of paying guests in the restaurant. Joe is constantly telling the staff to give the guests less and less food all the time but he keeps raising the prices. I feel bad for the paying customers who are constantly getting shorted by this single owner.
Absolutely wonderful! We ordered the rustic pizza and it was great 🙂 service was on time and very polite. Will order next time we are in town!
Love them but TOGO from Paseo needs improvment. I convinced my work to get Mario’s Pizza for lunch. I have eaten there a few times since the Paseo & Wyoming location opened up and they have great pizza and pasta. Well our TOGO service was awful. I had to wait extra time because the order online didn’t print our ticket, our salads were missing our dressings and we didn’t get any plastic ware. So at the office we are scrambling to find dressings and utensils to eat with. PLEASE IMPROVE the TOGO service if you want us to come back.
