ALWAYS GREAT!!!. I have been frequenting this awesome sandwich shop for at least 7-10 years. Every time I go in, the food is fresh and amazing. Awesome sandwich variety. Great soups and salads. Always fresh and very consistent. Rio Grande is an awesome sandwich. Great Friendly service as well!!

I stopped by because I wanted soup for lunch. I was impressed with the quick friendly service and the extensive sandwich options. i was disappointed that you can just order soup, instead soup is served with the sandwiches. So I ordered a half sandwich (pastrami) it is served with a large cup of soup and chips. It was appealing but had too much kraut. I was surprised to pay almost $9 for a half sandwich to go but, I did like the soup. I live very close but it hasn’t really impressed me for the price. I’m neutral about it.
This is the best sandwhich place in Albuquerque. The Arty Special is amazing. Grilled ham and cheese with bacon and green chili. Go on Friday and a great green chili chowder comes with your meal.

Great lunch with the girls. Went for a going away lunch for one of the girls, wonderful choices of sandwiches, soups and salads. Not your everyday basic ham & cheese place. Food was tasty, service was superb. Will be returning!
