I do not understand how the ratings are so low! My food was so good! I had the Spaghetti dinner and my boo had a chicken philly. Both were decently priced and delicious.The only issue I had was that my salad was half fresh and half wilted. Other than that, great service and a great sandwich shop!

We have eaten at Filling Philly’s a number of times and have been satisfied every time! We love the green chile philly and the teriyaki philly is a nice variation. My kids love to eat here as well, which makes it a great place for us to bring the whole family. Their happy hour is nice as you can take in a game (they’ll happily change the station to whatever game you’re interested in) and a good, local beer.My only quibble is the cost. As other have mentioned the prices seem a bit high for the size of the sandwich and for a full foot long it’s an additional $3.
This is a very modern/urban eatery! The food is good and the service is excellent. They also have the best local beers on draft I can’t wait to come back.
Here’s the thing, I really wanted this place to be a five star restaurant. I love myself a good Philly Cheesesteak and I was excited when I first saw their sign while driving down Menaul. I was happy to go by today to see they were open and I ordered a #1 a South Philly Cheesesteak. When I got my basket with fries my first thought was that it was small. I have ate cheesesteaks in Philly and they are typically about double the size. The sandwich was amazing and tasted as good if not better than many I have tried. The meat was tasty and I love the whiz! The fries were another story. I don’t know if they know how to cook fries or we got a bad batch but they need to go back to the drawing board. Fries should never be a greasy soggy mess. When it comes to drinks they have a good selection of soda and beers on tap, they do not have iced tea which is odd… Service was great, I just wish they had a better way to refill your drinks. I don’t think they thought about that part of the process. I hope they can improve as we need a great Philly here in town. My suggestions are; have an options for a full sandwich, learn to cook french fries, and maybe setup a soda bar for people to refill their own soda’s. Maybe look at prices too. With such a small sandwich I thought it was priced a high.
