What happened?. I used to wash pots and pans at Le Chantilly when I was a young man. All of their bakery goods were superb. So I ordered a German Chocolate cake for my mothers 80th birthday. Sorry to say that the cake didn’t even taste rich and delightful like I was expecting. Instead it was mostly made of lightly whipped light chocolate. I could not tell where the cake was. Looked like it crumbled and they filled it mostly with the whipped frosting. It was a mess! I hope Janet (I think that was the owners name) reads this and has it corrected. Or maybe it was just an isolated incident.M Quinones

Le Chantilly has some amazing culinary offerings. If you like Napoleans, and are lucky enough to stop in on a day when they have just baked some, they are some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Their soups are all made from scratch and their green chili chicken croissants are amazing. Ignore the haters.. this is an Albuquerque treasure!

You should be ashamed if you believe this is French…. First off I’d like to say the staff was fine; the girl behind the counter was attentive and pleasant. I’d also like to add my friend and I are well under thirty. But the overpriced creamy god only knows what we had was bland. It had texture from the cream, but that was about it. All of their baked goods also looked extremely dry and over done. If you can see a pastry looks like a rock you’ve screwed it up horribly. The bulk coffee they had for sale also seemed to be old…or something, most of it looked too dry and lacked any aroma. This place is in dire need of new management and a new bake crew; I hope they find at least the latter soon.
