Detroit Style Pizza in Albuquerque. My first bite of pizza, as a child in Detroit, was from Little Caesars. About 6 years old. Memories of family friend worried that the pepperoni was going to be to spicy for me…not. I was in food heaven. I begged my mother for a slice when I ever I could. Little Caesars has not been the best pizza in Albuquerque-or anywhere for a long time. I have been so dissappointed with the quality that I have not eaten it in years. Maybe because it’s close, I decided to try them again. To my delight, they have improved. Round pie is good and should probably be on the list for good-cheap eats. Then they came out with their deep dish pizza. This is the Detroit-style pizza that I have been craving! Deep-dish, square so that the edges get crispy and carmelized. Plenty of sauce and spicey pepperoni. Cheap eats just doesn’t get any better than this!

Super cheap and quick. It’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but what do you expect for $5? As long as your lucky enough to get a fresh pie, it’s a satisfying and cheap meal.
Great if you like cardboard with crappy sauce and rubber fake cheese – and for the special price of around five bucks. Great if you got a bunch of kids coming over. Grownups won’t eat that crap.
