Awesome restaurant! 1 waiter and a full house . The tuna rice bowl was amazing and the egg rolls were tasty too. My husband ordered the chicken cutlet curry and tried to finish it all but couldn’t. The portions are big ! very good food.
Extremely spicy, no warning on the menu. Nasty ramen. Understaffed place. Gross food and server didn’t offer refund when he saw our plates practically full.
I’m in love with this place!! Curry for lunch and ramen for dinner. Just stellar. The squid is simple and delicious. I love sitting at the bar style seating thru out this small restaurant
Best Japanese food in the city. Kokoro is the only Japanese restaurant I’ve found in Albuquerque that makes me feel like I am back in Japan. I love the curries and teishoku sets for lunch, and the ramen menu that they only serve at dinner time is also excellent. The shoyu ramen is a perfect example of its kind, and the shiro goma (white sesame) ramen (which comes with the broth on the side) is my current favorite. Oishii desu!
As amazing as always!. Just had lunch at Kokoro for their grand re-opening today (8/21)!!So excited. The food was just as fresh and wonderful as before. The curry is perfect, the chicken is wonderfully juicy and full of flavor. I can not say enough good things about this place. The salad was so good, the dressing was original and had great flavor!Small building, and commonly very busy, but the staff are amazing, so no complaints!!!
Any new opening dates?? I miss you guys.
Authentic Japanese Dishes. We spent several years living south of Tokyo, in the Kanagawa prefecture of Japan. A visit to Kokoro always takes me back to those times. Food is consistently excellent, which is rare these days. The family is devoted to quality and presentation. Particular favorite is Katsu Don, always moist, flavorful. Also enjoy the Katsu Curry, especially in the colder months. And common tho it may be, their Teriyaki Donburi is wonderful!
