Very traditional New Mexican food. You can not beat the price. They served chips and salsa with lunch and the chip were homemade. The service was great and I liked the food, however it wasn’t that memorable.

Best Sala. First time ever going, homemade sala, I’ve ever had, great place to eat, friendly staff. I rate 5 stars. Chose the chicken and grounded beef enchiladas with RED Chile, I was not disappointed.

Undiscovered Gem. An established, yet undiscovered gem. We cant say enough about this place. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in wonderful New Mexican food, outstanding service and price. The meals are large, hot, and served right. The food is nearly as good as Sadies, better than El Pinto, but no waiting and half the price. A shining example to other restaurants.

Went at lunchtime. One waitress working. She seemed overwhelmed. Salsa very watery and two taco plate was pretty sad

Yuck.. Blech. Some of the worst Mexican food I’ve EVER had.Chile con queso? Really? More like Velveeta with canned green chiles.I can’t even remember the rest… it was so unimpressive.Small, divey, dirty strip mall place. And, expect to wait a long while for your meal during a busy night. Will never return. Mom and Pop or not… it needs Gordon Ramsay.

Great inexpensive Mexican food. The enchiladas and chimichanga are way good. Decor is simple and dated but that’s not I’m looking for. Go for the food and the price.

Best Food in Town!. This restaurant is very close to my houses so I am here all the time! When you arrive the owner comes out to greet you (at least most of the time.) the food is AMAZING and I’ve never been disappointed! Great job Ortega’s!
