Pleasantly surprised!nice change from the normal New Mexican food.combination plate and smothered burritos were excellent very good flavor.I would recommend it to anyone come as you are definitely no dress code.but clean. Also reasonably priced. My meal was five star
Food was quite good but eclipsed by abysmal kitchen speed. I got served a solid 10 minutes after the rest of my family.
Not fast, small place, but very tasty. The chile verde pork was tender and savory, the relleno was coated in fried egg and was very good. Taco meat was shredded beef, not hamburger.
$5 breakfast burritos should be large and excellent. These were small and unexceptional. This is New Mexico, not Seattle; you’ve got too much competition to do boring breakfast burritos for beaucoup bucks.
Tip top. Awesome chile verde and side of guac. Service kind and quick. Simple decor but who needs fancier ambience when the place is clean, people nice, food good & prices cheaper? 5/5!!
Debby. My husband and I both enjoyed our meal. We had the cheese enchilada plate with red and the chicken enchilada plate with green. The chicken in the enchilada was excellent. The tortillas were fresh. The Pepsi was real. We were there Dec. 2, 2012. This was our second trip there. We plan on going there again. The bathroom was clean. The prices were reasonable.
This place is the real deal. Not the best environment but easily the best Mexican food I’ve had in Albuquerque. If you like carnitas then this is a MUST stop.
