Awful customer service. The cashier literally walked away when I was in the middle of ordering, without explanation. I was not happy, went to my car and waited for my boyfriend while he got his food. He then comes to the car and tells me the cashier had the nerve to ask him to pay for my food (which I hadn’t received, obviously). I work in customer service and I don’t understand the amazing lack of common sense/courtesy.

Outstanding Sandwich. I recently had the pleasure of eating a Matterhorn sandwich, a delectable delight of ham, turkey, bacon, gouda cheese, red pepper, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing on a panini-grilled baguette. My sides were pickle, kettle chips, and potato salad.I ordered a whole sandwich instead of a half and was wondering if I could eat the whole thing when it arrived. The contrast of the warm, crispy-chewy baguette with the tasty, warm innards quickly won me over, and I ate the whole thing. BTW, geat chips, too.On the downside: The restaurant interior is very hard–not a square inch of any sound-absorbing surface. Add to that a constant low-frequency thrumming from one of the display coolers, and it’s difficult to hear while conversing–especially when it’s busy.

I LOVE this place!. I’ve been to Swiss Alps twice now and the food is so good that I just had to write a review. The italian panini is to die for! Whatever spread they put on top is just amazing. I’ve also tried two of their soups—some sort of pablano cheese soup and either a tomato or roasted red pepper bisque. These soups were so delicious! Some of the best I’ve ever had. My husband got the matterhorn panini, which was also amazing, and the pasta salad. Hands down the best pasta salad I’ve ever had. When you buy a sandwich, it comes with a side (soup/salad) and kettle chips all for around $9. I haven’t tried any of the desserts, but they all look amazingly sinful! I will return to this place again and again and bring friends and family with me! There is indoor and outdoor covered seating, which is lovely on a gorgeous day.

Cake was terrible. For my son’s 17th birthday, I ordered a white cake with buttercream frosting from Swiss Alps Bakery. Not one 17 year old was able to eat more than 2 bites. Everyone at the party voted this the worst cake ever. I’ll agree with them & admit it was the worst cake I’ve ever had in my entire life & it wasn’t inexpensive. I guess it’s time to learn to bake.

Baked goods were fresh although the customer service needs some work as does the ability of the cashier to properly give correct change.

Who’s the favorite in the family?. I am! For the moment anyway… But I couldn’t have done it without the help of a pumpkin and pecan pie for thanks giving. I think I would have sealed the deal if I had gotten that apple pie that was offered to me. But there’s always Christmas. ;] By the way their crunchy chocolate chip cookies are lovely with a glass of warm milk. And their chocolaty brownies are sinfully awesome, they come with frosting, but I don’t think they need them (they’re that divine).
