Good old fashioned.. I have many fond memories of going to Christy Mae’s with my grandmother and my mother growing up. They’re not quite as good as they used to be (I’ll admit, they took a few of my favorites off the menu and it made me grumpy), but the Albuquerque Turkey there is still my favorite sandwich and I was a very happy girl when they made the cream of green chile chicken soup a regular part of the menu instead of a special. I’d also recommend the chicken salad croissant, fantastic chicken salad.

Wonderful. Their food is DELISH!! The Le Chicken is amazing and make sure to get the banana bread! It makes it even more amazing knowing that by eating at Christy Maes, you know you’re supporting a local family!!
Chicken fried steak standwich. Absolutely the best I have ever had, and I am from Texas so I know a great steak when I taste one! It was hand breaded with flour and pepper so it had that delicate flakey golden flour crust that wasn’t overly seasoned. Mmmm mmm!

Delicious Sandwiches. Their sandwiches are amazing! My personal favorite is the Albuquerque turkey. They also have a great atmosphere and their staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend Christy Mae’s.
Great atmosphere. I love the atmosphere. It’s a great place to eat and talk. I’ve had about 3/4 of their menu, and it’s all good. Their green chili stew is outstanding
