I was pleasantly surprised by this little place. The outside would lead you to believe the restaurant is old and maybe not so up to date but inside is very nice. It reminded me somewhat of cracker barrel in the way it was decorated. The staff was quick to help and the overall service was great. The food was great too and was more than reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant and will be recommending it to my friend and family as well.
Lovely Sandwich and Tea. I have been going to Christy Mae’s since I was about ten years old, I am now 34. The tea is always spot on (and BEST served with their lovely crushed ice)! The Albuquerque Turkey (I sub cheddar) is delish! It hits the spot with their french fries (that I love to dip in ranch). I hear the pot pies are fabulous as well. (Skip the burger, since they changed the meat and bacon it isnt that great!)The Le Ham and Cheese is great too (again I sub cheddar). My Mom’s fav is the Alligator Pear salad. Big, crisp portioned salad. Ambiance is much like a country home. Simple and peaceful. I highly recommend it.
