One fine afternoon we decided for a lunch at office and that’s how we landed at this place. The Nachos were good and the food was also pretty decent. I personally liked the different styles of Fajitas.
Tasty Mexican cuisine and very friendly service. Went as a party of 4, the margaritas came out a little slow at first, but the place was packed, so I can understand. Our server Tony was great. He was friendly, a little goofy, but overall a great guy. Garduo’s is very impressive inside, the setup is great and the atmosphere is inviting. The food was very comparable to the other Mexican places I’ve eaten at in ABQ. I don’t understand the previous reviews that essentially said the food wasn’t good enough for their dogs…I would recommend Garduo’s.
Still the best chips and salsa in all of Albuquerque. Food is good.
Worst service told half hour wait an hour and a half later still waiting, if it wasn’t for out of town company I’d leave
Tasty Sunday Brunch-Uptown. Had not been to Gardunos in quite a while so we decided to drop in for Sunday brunch. Nice fun atmosphere with Mariachi singers, sports bar and giant margarita makers at the table (definitely an upgrade from the Gardunos of old). The biggest smile came from their brunch buffet. They had a breakfast area with made to order omelets, pancakes and egg sandwiches. Corn tortilla grill where you can have them fry up shrimp, shredded beef, chicken and carne adovada tacos. The main buffet has multiple choices of enchiladas, burritto’s, roasted chicken, ribs, posole, salad, fruit and a separate desert bar with different types of authentic Mexican juices like horchata. Nice change, good tasting, fresh Sunday brunch.
Still a Disappointment. Service is terrible! We had to wait almost 45 minutes for food that was luke warm at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon. They weren’t that busy. Manager was in hiding instead of providing any customer service. Didn’t stop to check on any customers. This is the 3rd time we’ve tried Garduno’s and sad to say, we won’t be back :(. They need to get it together!
You wonder why most closed? They suck! Plain and simple the food is over priced and not good at all. Service is mediocre and I would much rather go to little Anita’s express on 4th than eat at Gardunos. Their food at Anita’s is sooo much better than this place.
