Not worth the extra coin. We just got back from eating here and felt so dissatisfied that we had to immediately write about it. We ordered appetizers (fried mac & cheese and zuchinni, salads (ceasar) and 3 entrees (fettuccini with chicken, spaghetti and a kids Fettuccini. They immediately served the appetizers and salads with bread and 3 minutes later they brought the main entrees. Needless to say we did not have time to eat the salads or appetizers. Unfortunately we would have been better off eating the appetizers and passing on the entrees. In the adult meals the one big flavor that stood out the most was SALT, lots of it. You could definitely tell this was a chain and had no love in the preparation hence the super 3 minute cook time. Just enough time to plate the already mass made ingredients. Our waiter quickly brought over our check and apologized that it was not in a book since they had ran out of them. If he only realized the lack of a receipt book was the least of their issues. They were the most attentive in trying to quickly herd us out to clear way for the next round of cattle. Finally all I have left to say is stay away and moo.

Very disappointing!. Really disappointing experience. We held a family dinner here after my daughter’s graduation. The service was awful. We were seated about 8:30 but did not see our server, Mary, for at least 30 minutes. The place was not that busy so there was no excuse. Drink orders took forever and the people around us who came in after we did had their food before our orders were taken. We had to ask for the bread multiple times and drink refills took forever. Appetizers came out piecemeal and were mostly cold. Entrees took forever. Our server was bringing them out 2 at a time (there were 18 of us) until we asked another server to help her. The staff seemed more preoccupied with getting the closing chores done than serving the customers. Some of the food was excellent but most was mediocre and cold. I realize that larger parties can be tough but 18 people should not be that much of a challenge for this place. We have had several larger events here in the past with no problems. Mary was either very inexperienced or very incompetent and she should have asked for help. While we waited for our food they tried several times to deliver other tables food to us. If we knew the wait we were in for we would have taken them. We were planning to stay for dessert but were afraid we would be there all night. I would also like to note that when we arrived we watched several employees exit their vehicles and go in the employee entrance. They were parked in the spots directly in front of the restaurant. Shouldn’t those be for the customers? That was the last family celebration we will be having at Macaroni Grill. We loved this place but after this experience we won’t be back.

Excellent food and service!. When I go to Macaroni Grill my experience is, excellent food and service! I always go back due to most of the dishes I have eaten there is really good. Also the service for the most part is great. I am not much of food chain person, but Macaroni Grill always gives me a good eating-out experience.

The food was good and our server (Rick) if I remember right, was a very nice young guy who was very busy, but didn’t seem to miss a beat. I love that they have crayons for the kids and we had fun drawing all over the table with our son. It was my birthday so a woman sang happy birthday beautifully in Italian 🙂 they gave me free cheesecake and it was really really good! Like, I don’t care if they took it out of a box and served it, it was delicious! My favorite thing about this place is when you order a bottle of wine, but don’t finish it they will pack it to go for you.:) thank you for the great service and I am sure we will be back again!

Great food! Had the 4 course offering..toasted ravioli, Cesar Salad, Fettucini Alfredo and then a last platter with a steak, shrimp and some great roasted potatoes. All that coupled with great service (thanks Mel) and a generous serving of some Chianti made for a great lunch!

Please $10 to $15 a person for pasta, sauce and some meat. The flavors and tecture was no better than most can make themselves. It’s sad this corporation restaurant is not a family run one. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain
