After being seated by the very polite host, had 2 wait staff argue over who did not want to serve us more.Kids menu – PB&J is 2 Smuckers Uncrustables for $3.50, Macaroni & Cheese is a plate of Kraft-like ‘pasta’ for a very expensive $6.50.Adults – lobster roll is serviceable but by no means memorable. Clam belly platter definitely not worth the price.Overall, very expensive meal for mediocre to sub-par food and service.
A must see, but after that go somewhere else for your rolls ! Very pricey , more mayo than lobster, it’s not Maine!
Fun but pricey meal. The meal was really good although the buffalo calamari wasn’t the best.. Tried the Puffer and chips. Also had the buffalo calamari and fried oysters. Two of us ordered 2 rum punches a piece. The other two ordered meals as well as a daiquiri a piece. After everything was said and done the bill came to $186.00. I wasn’t expecting that. The drinks alone were over $60. They must have charged per shot for the rum punches. Again the meal was good and we all had fun but the bill higher than expected, and they should expand their raw bar selection. Not having raw oysters at a place like that is criminal. 88/100
Decent. Enjoyed the visit. Waitress was really nice, friendly, and very good. The lobster rolls themselves, however, are ok, but nothing special. They definitely have a rather plain taste and are missing something. The good news is the lobster meat is not drowned in mayo. Onion Rings were decent. New England Clam Chowder again … just ok.
Sure the portions aren’t what they were…. Neither are the prices- they’re bigger… still, it’s an institution and I’ve loved it forever
Overpriced like everything else in the Hamptons, but it was good. I had the Lobster Roll, it was fresh and the fries were crispy. Great for a quick stop.
I arrived at 2 PM. I was seated immediately. 20 minuutes later, I left. No sign of a wait person. Given the level of service, don’t bother going.
