We arrived in Brooklyn at 10:30 am looking for breakfast. Nothing fancy. Just an omelet. Found this place by walking by. Don’t let the simple exterior throw you off. Good basic breakfast food — home cooking style. And the price was reasonable with coffee AND juice included. Good deal all around. I can’t speak for lunch or dinner, but our morning was good.
Local gem indeed!. I dream about their rotisserie chicken sometimes. Try the Mangu con queso frito for breakfast. For about $8 you can get a 1/2 chicken with rice and beans or fries and salad. The green sauce is so tasty, just the right combination of garlicy tartness. At times, the fries are too soggy and chicken too dry, but when they get it right it is very satisfying.

AND CHICKEN SOUP ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE COMPLIMENTARY PRESSED BREAD —PERFECT
