Great potential; execution needs work. Cheesy Chick set up shop near my office today so I decided to go over and check it out. It’s a great idea, but in practice it was kind of a disaster. I waited over 45 minutes for a grilled spinach veggie wrap, hold the onions, and when it was finally ready it was lukewarm, contained onions, and also contained jalapenos – which were not in the description posted on the side of the truck. It did not, however, contain the banana peppers that were in the description. The sandwich was… fine, but definitely not worth the wait.I don’t know how much foodservice experience the new owners have, but they seemed completely overwhelmed by the 20 or 30 people who were there. Sandwiches were coming out at a rate of one every 5 minutes or so, it seemed, and often out of order – people getting served long before people who ordered long before them. At one point the cooking seemed to grind to a halt as they tried to locate the owner of a sandwich – who knows if they got the name wrong or the person who ordered it had long since given up and left to find actual food to eat.I hope these new owners will work out the kinks and learn some efficiencies to improve their production speed and quality. A couple of large industrial panini presses would serve them much better than a flattop and a pan lid in making quick sandwiches with cheese that is actually melted. I wish them the best of luck, but don’t think I’ll be back.

Smaller than I expected. I just had my first experience with a Buffalo Food Truck and it really didn’t impress me. I ordered the basic grilled cheese on white with bacon and tomato. It was made on small sandwich bread, with 2 thin slices of tomato and 2 slices of bacon for $6.00. When they gave it to me, all of the cheese wasn’t melted. I was waiting in the freezing cold, so maybe they were trying to get me back to my car faster. Anyway, it was small and tasted just like what I would have made at home for $2.00.I was still hungry after I ate it.

Cheesy. Great grilled cheeses and reasonably priced. Get the classic grilled cheese where you can add other options or one of their specialty sandwiches. Loved the Billy Goats sandwich that had roasted vegetables and goat cheese and coworker loved her Buffalo Chicken grilled cheese. Creative concepts for this sandwich like a hot dog grilled cheese and an Italian one. Side salads for $2 where they pack it into a cup. Girls that work on the truck are so nice and appreciative of every sale. They are adding soups to the menu when it gets colder out. Follow them on twitter or facebook to see when they will be around you.

Cheesy Goodness!. So far, my husband and I have tried a plain cheddar grilled cheese, the ABC (Apple, Bacon and Cheddar) grilled cheese and the pizza grilled cheese (which comes with a side of marinara for dipping). All three sandwiches have been perfectly grilled and very tasty. I was especially impressed by how good the marinara dipping sauce was. It was obviously home made and not jarred (or jarred tasting) like a lot of restaurants have. We have been to the truck twice so far and it will be one of those places that we will go to again and again.Edit: We’ve also since tried the Three Billy Goats Stuff (marinated artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, sundried tomatoes & goat cheese) as well as the Hot Dog Grilled Cheese and the Cannoli dip dessert. All excellent as always, hoping to head out to see them in Tondy tomorrow.

Cheese Heaven. Had the ABC (apple, bacon and chedda) on sourdough AND nutella & marshmellow, soooooooooo delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

Not impressed I was looking forward to trying them out, asked about an abc sandwich which looked like its on the reg menu but they only sell things on board which was three sandwiches. Then while waiting they sold one to a teacher ! Way small for 6 dollars I work in a restaurant so I know the prices! I’m glad I got it out of my system
