• Eating Through Buffalo

  The trendy restaurant/nightclub theme doesn’t seem to work here. Service was slow and didn’t seem to care about their customers. Got the vibe they knew they would get decent tips because there was a production going on at Shea’s. We ordered two show specials which included soup or salad a choice of entree and dessert. Everything had no flavor! Soup needed heavy salt and pepper and for being chicken and vegetable there were no pieces of chicken in the whole bowl. Twin Asiago stuffed chicken was decent and probably the best thing we ordered but we left the restaurants with a stomach ache. Must have been cooked in too much butter. The strawberry glaze on the cheesecake was too sweet. Should have tried the sushi instead. Don’t know if I will be back.

  Wonderful. My wife and I are in town visiting and walked to Encore from our hotel. The experience was great. I ordered the spicy tuna rolls & the asiago chicken. My wife had California rolls and a salad. The chicken was delicious and the sushi was some of the best I have ever had. It is a bit on the expensive side but well worth the money. We both enjoyed our meals and the experience. If we ever make it back to Buffalo we will definitely be back.

  Sushi. Tuesday nights are great! I loved all of the eel rolls. My husband and I went for our anniversary and we both are anticipating on returning. Great job!

  Valentines treat. We went for a romantic valentines dinner and could not’ve been happier. We were greeted promptly at the door. Our reservation was ready early and we were pleased with both the food and the service throughout the evening. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.

  This was an awesome experience. Food and service were exceptional. The waiter was phenomenal. Derrick was a very flamboyant personality that walked the line very well complimenting myself and my wife making this night very fun. Though he was very gay, neither of us were uncomfortable. Kudos Encore and Derrick.

  Excellent!. I had dinner with three friends during restaurant week. The 2010 special was fantastic! Glass of wine or beer, soup or salad, entree, and dessert. I opted for the huge serving of seafood bisque soup, flat-iron steak, and cheesecake for dessert. The bisque came in a bowl larger than your standard cereal bowl and had a sweeter than usual taste to it. I was full after that! The flat-iron steak was grilled the way I had asked, medium rare, and again the portion was very large. It came with a side of fries that were sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Also great. The cheesecake was standard, but tasty. I left the restaurant feeling extremely full and also had leftovers for lunch the next day. I will definitely be returning!
