Just sad. This particular steakout just blows period. Bunch of kids cooking for a bunch of kids. Went there yesterday Gotta chicken finger sub, without lettuce. I get it to go, took about 12 mins for it to get done, and when they call me and hand me my sub something already looked fishy. Like they made a sub rapped it then opened it and rerapped it, the thing was loose and cold. I was in a hurry so I got home fast and get my plate and unrapped the thing. FInd out they made my sub with lettuce, and instead of making me a new one they just scrapped off most of the lettuce. I could see actually finger gouges in the chicken fingers and the blue cheese when I opened it up.I usually go to the steakout on delaware or on allen, I havent been to this particular steak out sine I was 26 and I was drunk all the time, so that explains it, you gotta be drunk to enjoy the food at elmwood ave steakout. That was the most ghetto move I have ever seen in any so called restaurant. I would of went back and got my money back if it wasnt already 8pm, there was no way I would of got a replacement from there after that.
You can only eat here if your very intoxicated. Then the grease is fantastic. That said, the sober palate will likely be disgusted.
Simply the greatest fast food in buffalo. awesome steak hoagies and chicken finger subs. highly recomended
Noisy. In the early to mid 2000s the quality of beef they use took a nosedive. I used to get steak fajitas there at the Elmwood and Bidwell location all the time, then one day I couldn’t believe the gristly knot that was in my mouth. The music is always blaring, I can’t eat there.It’s better than Mighty Taco, but at least Mighty Taco is cheap.

Elmwood and sheridan are great and consistant. I try the one on transit rd expecting the same great steak sub and comes up Short on STEAK the first and third time! Not Good!! Depends on who’s working I guess. I live in East Amherst and just have to travel to at least Sheridan dr. Town of Tonawanda or downtown if I want the REAL THING and it wasn’t in Amherst on Transit rd and it still cost $$$ 10.00 Ten Bucks ? My Wife bought a Porterhouse Steak For $8.50 yeah now I get it also. No Transit rd Jims Steakwithout 🙂 ah Free Speach God Bless America!!!
