Absolutely disgusting. So before a Sabers game my family decided to give this place a shot thinking hmm the place is near the First Niagara center it has to be good. Well we were wrong. The food was cold and had the taste of a freezer. We ordered the taco soup. Well let me tell you, it tasted as if I opened a can of Tomato Soup through some beans in their and called it a meal. Pitiful. It was also cold which made the meal go from being 50 to 0. My father ordered the brisket. It was dry to the point where we couldn’t cut it. It was also cold like all the other food we ordered. The service was wonderful. So sad that this nice waitress’s had to work in suckey place. TWO THUMBS DOWN

Completely mediocre, not even sub-par. Don’t bother. By the time you get service/ receive your food , you will be too depraved to immediately complain the item you ordered is missing ingredients it claimed to have on the menu. I can honestly say I’m pissed. Boooooooooooooooo
A wart on Buffalo’s surprisingly solid food scene. I could go into great detail here. we could talk about flavor and staffing, we could talk about ambience or lack thereof, we could even talk about head chef’s and how a place manages to through 5 of them in 4 years. Or, we could just skip all of that and you can make sure you never eat here. If by some awful twist of fate you do have to eat here, promise me you won’t eat anything with meat in it, as there are critters abound.
Would definitely Come Back (Hidden Gem next to Harbor Center). Was at a hockey tournament at the Harbor Center looking for a place to eat and hang out between games. Found this hidden gem less than 300 feet form the arena. Great atmosphere, food and outstanding beer selection. They were very accomodationg for our rather large group. There were able set a table few tables together for the kids and another for the adults. Had sports on the TV’s and hip music playing in the background that was just right. Server was very attentive and friendly. I would recommend the Hindenburger, basil truffle fries and a tall Haufbrau to wash it down.

Very Disappointing, Will Not Return. Appetizers were served one minute before entrees. Entrees were served cold. Entrees were expensive. The thick slice of sauerbraten was flavorless and tough, the small amount of spaetzel was dry, the little bit of red cabbage was the star of the dish. The Bangers were dry, served with mushy peas and mashed potatoes with a tiny bit of gravy (we asked for more gravy). The fish and chips had a very small piece of fish and a cup of french fries that were greasy, and tasted of very, very little truffle oil. One cold dish was sent back, and returned not much warmer. There were very few people in the restaurant- what is going on in the kitchen that the food could be served so cold and uninspiring and at such a premium price. We all liked the crab stuffed deviled eggs that are served cold. If you want to enjoy them, better get there soon, this place will not make it.
Disappointed. Went to lunch after a friend’s recommendation but was very disappointed. Besides being expensive the food was just fair. Steak salad consisted mainly of lots of lettuce and slices of steak which needed the fat trimmed. Very little else. Service was okay, and beer choices were plenty. They should nix serving food, patrons should eat elsewhere (cheaper and better quality,) and bar just do drinks! Won’t go again. Broke the bank!
