We Liked It. My friend and I met for dinner and a long chat. I thought it would be too loud, but it was fine. We shared a salad, a cheese & sausage plate, and an olive & bread plate. With no tax or tip the bill was 50% alcohol ($7/wine). With tax & tip it was about $40/person. Our server was accommodating. We’ll go back.
Don’t Go: Especially for the food!. Food not prepared on site. They have a microwave and hot plate to heat and serve. Faux-euro, but this is Buffalo after all.
Great place to catch a soccer game
The cocktails were fabulous and they have some pretty cool menu items as well the pizzas are great also bartenders were friendly and knowledgable I highly recommend this place it’s really nice inside with the brick walls love the European theme ! I give it An a plus oh and try the pork rice and beans awesome!!!!!
Awesome Bar. This is a great place to go for drinks after work. Bartenders are extremely friendly, there is a wide selection of great beers, and the food is awesome. One of my favorites in Buffalo.
Good, but . . .. I started out with the Soup du Jour, which happened to be a truffled mushroom bisque. The soup was quite tasty, the black truffle oil was prominent, but not overpowering. The truffle oil worked quite well with the mushrooms, which is no surprise. The bread served with the soup was nice and fresh. The same bread reappeared slightly toasted with both of my small platesThe two small plates I ordered were Shrimp and chorizo-stuffed peppers with garlic cream sauce and Duck Confit meatballs served with porocini mushroom cream sauce. Let me start with the negative shared by both plates – the sauces were tasty, yet starchy. There was either too much flour used, which wasn’t cooked long enough, or the sauces sat too long. This was most noticeable on the duck confit meatballs. A thinner sauce would have elevated these meatball from very good to excellent. The piquant and sweet taste of the piguillo peppers was a welcome change from the standard stuffed banana pepper fare that is seen far too often in this area. However, the garlic cream sauce was too thick for the previously stated reasons.Overall, I enjoyed my meal after a long afternoon of Christmas shopping. I sat at the bar, enjoyed a glass or two of Malbec and the bartender provided pleasant and knowledgeable conversation. The menu is designed to be prepared easily, in a small space adjacent to the back bar. The prep work for the food is done at Left Bank. A bit of tweaking on those sauces will transform Ms Que into a true winner.
Great pub for everyone. The food is good, the staff is solid and there is soccer on nearly all-the-time. Can’t say enough for having something like this in Buffalo
