  Terrible Food. I’ve been here 4 or 5 times (I keep going back thinking it will be good) and have yet to have an above average meal. It’s odd because the presentation of the plates look great, and it seems like it should taste good every time my food is delivered to the table, but alas… it never is. Everything I order is always bland, every time. From the burger to the wings to the blue cheese to the pizza…. it all LOOKS good but TASTES terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, it just doesn’t serve good food.

  Awesomely Vegan!. For a restaurant named The Steer it sure does have THE best vegan menu! Seriously, it the best vegan food in Buffalo! Erin Curtain has done a great job creating these all these options. Thank you!!!!

  Embarassed – Extremely poor service. We had a large party, 18 people, with ONE waitress. Waitress started at my end of table, taking our drink orders. A woman in the party ordered BV, the waitress didn’t not know what BV was. She looked thru her IPAD, naming off bourbons, then finally handed it to the patron to find what she wanted. (AHHH, no). Drinks came then we waited for our dinner order. Again, waitress started at my end of the table. First food to come out was at the opposite end of the table. If orders are entered thru a computer, then they should be cooked as first received, OR at least that would make sense, to me. Waitress brought out 2 dishes at a time, no tray, no help. Everyone was served their side dish salad but me. I complained & was told the cooks were cooking our dinner now, they couldn’t get to my salad….????? It’s just a salad, hmmmmm. By the time my end of table got their entrees, the other end of table was finished eating!!! I got my entree before they bought out my salad. It was a mess. The same woamn, who ordered a BV cocktail, dinner order was never put in. We were all done by the time her entree was brought out. She waited so long, she order a separate side of mac & cheese to hold her over! The waitress thought that was in replacement of her requested side, twice baked potato, so that was never brought out…well…until later. TWO THUMBS DOWN!!!!!

  Awful Service. A girlfriend and I went for dinner on a Tuesday about 9, we were seated right away but that was the only thing that was prompt. The waitress took forever to bring our drinks, we ordered an appetizer. She brought that to us but failed to ask what we would like for our main entree. When she finally did a half hour later she rang our order in wrong, I ordered the Steakhouse nd my girlfriend order the Ceasar Salad with Chicken. Once we had recieved our correct order the waitress did not check in to see if everything was ok or if we need anything. After 2 hours there we were finally finished!! I would hate to see what it looks like on a busy night!

  I’m a fan. I really like this place for some reason. No one else I know does though. The only gripe I have is their fries. They are lackluster compared to everything else.

  Went for dinner at about 5pm on a Saturday with my girlfriend and her 12 yr old daughter. We got sat in a booth in the dining room. Lots of college kids, which was sort of expected. Mostly girls talking loudly and laughing and having a good time. Not rowdy though, just not a quiet night out. The food was good. They don’t bring bread to the table which I though odd. I had the bone in pork chop which was good but a little dry. They butterflied it without me asking. Next time I would make sure they didn’t. My girl had the beef tornadoes which she liked and her daughter had the pulled pork sandwich which was devoured. I’d go back again just not expecting a nice quiet dinner.
