Great food and service. The food was great and the service was also great. We like going in the summer and sitting outside. Great atmosphere.
This was our first time here. The outside (and inside) had a really nice look and feel to it. However, we were disappointed with the service and price we paid for our food. Filet mignon was burnt on the outside, had to send it back unfortunately. I would try this place out again though, don’t get me wrong.
Food has always been good, but the quality of food and service in no way matches the price. It aspires to be of a higher class than its food and waitstaff can account for. Service has alway been sub par with waitstaff on several occasions having complaint sessions about other staff near the guests. They have never been attentive. It’s a long drive out this way for an underwhelming dinner occasion.
Sub Par service and food. This place has a cozy atmosphere but the service and food did’nt measure up to the price we paid. The waittress was unintentive to details in our orders, she had to be rundown for service. The steak was ordered medium and came back very rare. We ordered 2 scoops of icecream for dessert that never arrived with the sliver of pie. Beware when they do ask if you’d like a refill they will charge you for it and they’ll never mention it. You ‘re much better off going to Applebees or Ruby Tuesdays than driving all the way out here for this.
DARN GOOD FOOD. We go to the NIC_L_INN at least twice a year, only twice because it’s almost an hour and a half drive; if it were closer, we’d go more often.The food is good, the staff is friendly, the service is right on,so what more can you ask for. We had the clams casino, again, because they’re good here. Our entrees were similar:seafood Alfredo and seafood w /pesto sauce; totally delicious; the tastes were different, but contained the same seafood; jumbo scallops, shrimp, and that darn surimi, a litle disappointing. All in all,very good,though. At the table next to us, one of the clients had the prime rib , which he proclaimed in no uncertain words to be the best anywhere! Too bad it’s a little far.
