Awsome. Excellent Italian food. Stopped in for lunch. Had the Mama Mia, wow fresh bread and cheese on sandwich. Decor very nice. Owner was a sweetheart. New favorite spot when in Utica.
Worst DINNER. I am gluten free. I found a crouton in my salad. I ordered chicken and it was so rubbery I could have thrown it against the wall and watched it bounce. They tried to charge me for the whole meal. When I complained, they took half off. The cosmopolitan that I ordered was like kool-aid and they charged NYC prices –12 dollars. Great service and delicious Italian food with huge portions. I’m really enjoyed the experience everyone in my party of 3 was very satisfied with the appetizers an their meals.
Tired from waiting. First a 20 minute wait was 40.. the bartender obviously hated her job with every eye roll she gave us. Yes the food is made to Oder BUT REALLY!! The wait should not have to be an hour and a half! I don’t wait that long in NYC! I don’t understand why there is not a supervisor on the floor pointing and directing.. It’s like a dang free for all. 15 minutes for drinks and that was after we flagged down the bus boy another 25 for apps and the food wasn’t even that good! One and done… We will NEVER visit here again
Waiter was friendly and accommodating. The food was not up to the caliber of any of the better Italian restaurants. Wine and liquor was cheap. Sub par ingredients like bread soaked in garlic powder, triple sec vs. Cointreau everything cheap. Sorry just being honest.
Longest Wait Ever. The reviews I heard and read about your service are spot on. The service was very very poor service as stated. Our party went there and waited 2 hours and 25 minutes for Riggies, Really??? This is a small place with many servers, but they need immediate help on the service side of the business. No one server appears to have a specific area. They just jump all over the place. We were not even asked if we were waited on until after sitting for almost a half hour. That was after I had to work pretty hard to have someone make eye contact with me or my party??? The cooks and ownwer work very hard as you can observe. The food is good, but time is money and people can get good food in many of our local restaurants and wait a fraction of the time. I would recommend fixing the service first before the customers you have now stop coming, and then it will be to late.
Service was slow, our waitress like forgot we were even her table and it wasn’t even busy. She brought my husband’s food out and didn’t bring mine out until 10 mins after, not because it wasn’t ready but because she was chatting up some friends of hers that came in. Chicken riggies tasted like Mac and cheese and so heavy on the cream that it was nauseating. Veal was dry and chewy and the greens were bitter. Also overcharged $12 for an additional two wines that we didn’t have, when we brought it to our waitresses attention she interigated us like we were lying. She ended up only taking off $6, we just took the other $6 out from her tip because we were so annoyed that we just wanted to get out of there. The appetizer and the chips and cheese dip were amazing though, other than that we were really disappointed.
