Incredible. Period.. I stumbled upon this place a few weeks ago and I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. There half-moons are inCREDIBLE!!! I have tried so many places now but nothing comes close to it. Not in the same realm! I will forever be a customer. I just got a quarter sheet cake, dark chocolate and creamy icing that was the best i have ever had. never knew this kind of quality existed. Thank you ginger bread!!!!
Disappointed. Was visiting home for the week and looking forward to the great half moons. In the past I’ve been there and they tasted just like the Hemstrought’s originals. This time they were thick with what tasted like some commercially prepared frostings that tasted nothing like they should have. Hope I just caught it on the wrong day – might as well not make them if they’re not going to use the original frosting. Just charge more for the original recipe if it’s a matter of cost – I’m sure people will pay.
