Loved every minute there !. Our waitress and Ryan,the bar tender, were fantastic !!! Food was great and had a good selection of on tap beers. Cool feel to the place, homey and comfortable. However, our first stop was to Celtic Harp, Bad mistake. Sat there for several minutes and saw no one, never received any service so we left. Thankfully, we found Nail Creek Pub. Sorry, Celtic Harp but with no service people leave and none to happy.
O…M…G…. I have only had yorkshire pudding twice. I was hoping that I would find a local place that would have it (and weirdly enough I was kinda craving it last week) and lo and behold… Wednesday Dinner at Nail Creek this week was… yorkshire pudding with roast beef & carrots. YUM! This is my first time having any type of food here and it was fantastic! I’ve been here for drinks (huge selection of beers), but the food is just as good. I’m looking forward to another Wednesday night!Thank You!!!!
Awesome!. Ate dinner last night at Nail creek. First of all, the atmosphere makes me think that I’m at home and comfortable. Nice buzz of nearby conversations, TV on in background, and comfortable tables and seating. Then dinner comes- maybe even served by the chef who prepared it! The chicken was better than any I have ever cooked and I have been cooking for alot of years! Great smashed (wasabi) potatoes and a vegie stir fry- $12- wonderful- went home very happy.
Best Place in the Area. The Nail Creek has easily become my favorite place to get something to eat. The reason for this is that their food is consistently excellent. While at some places in the area you can have a good meal one time and lousy one the next, the Nail Creek food is always top notch. Also there is not a place in this area that does English Pub Food as well as the Nail Creek. Their Bangers and Mash and Scotch Eggs are second to none. Another thing that makes the Nail Creek the best place in the area is the selection of beer is incredible. I have discovered some truly amazing beers at the Creek that I probably would have never even heard of, if not for their extensive beer list. It’s nice to finally have a pub in Utica with a beer selection that rivals anything you would find in Albany or Syracuse.
Really?. This place is great! only Belgian beers? Are you nuts? They have 150 bottled beers from around the world! The other place doesn’t come close to that! Give it another try man. Take a look at the beer menu this time. If you like beer, i HIGHLY recommend this place. The only pub from Albany to Syracuse where you can find such an extensive beer menu. Lunches are fantastic as well….
Great beer, food, atmosphere. Nail Creek Pub and Brewery has an excellent assortment of beer. They have 100+ beers available ranging from Lager to Stouts. They also offer some wines and a selection of liquor. The food is wonderful. I have eaten at Nail Creek approximately 5 times and have thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The food is fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is great. The music isn’t too loud and the staff is friendly. The owners take pride in their establishment and it shows!
Why belgian?. THey have a great beer selection! if you like belgian beer which is an acquired taste. Ales are much more widely appreciated than Belgian beer. If you like the atmosphere of the NCP but not the beer selection try going uptown alittle. Same atmosphere but better selection. *I am not affilated with the TGOP just a fan of good beer.
