Ordered Cajun Salmon, very dry, poorly seasoned, wild rice delicious , nice atmosphere, wait staff great, others in our party very pleased with their selection, just wouldn’t order salmon again
Appetizing. I had swiftys for lunch. As an appetizer we ordered their homemade Irish nachos, boy were those delicious! The chips are homemade, crunchy and covered in nacho cheese and then topped with crisp bacon. For my entree, I had the fried haddock sandwich with a garden salad as my side. I am so pleased with this unique pub. The pub also has advanced technology, as their waiters and waitresses use mini tablets to take your order. The service was fast and the restaurant is very clean! I wish I could have made it in their twice while I was in town. I HIGHLY suggest swiftys!
Good lunch spot. We went for a quick lunch while attending a conference downtown. The food was very good with extensive choices, ranging from unique options to more typical pub fare. Service was a bit slow but the place was packed with downtown workers stopping in for lunch, so it was understandable. The place is a bit spartan looking, but very clean. Our table had the habit of leaning every which way and was supported by coasters – the waitress seemed aware of that and offered to have the hostess reinforce the coasters (which was very kind), but we were OK with it. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in Utica.
Love this place!. Tonight was my third visit and my opinion just keeps getting better. The food is fantastic, the beer selection extensive but it’s the staff that gets the highest marks. I’ve never seen a friendlier, more concerned bunch of people. Keep up the good work.
