Golden Pine Deli Features Latin Caribbean Comestibles. Golden Pine Deli was recommended to us by people that we dined near while in a Farmingdale restaurant. The recommendation was specifically for their rabo. We found other steam table items that we like presented in a very clean and appetizing way. I had the Cristianos y Moros, pernil and chaufan at lunch yesterday, My spouse ordered Cristianos y Moros, rabo, platano maduro, and lentejas. She drank malta. I preferred Pepsi. There is ample seating in the back of the deli/grocery. The food was tasty and visually pleasing at the same time. Visual appeal is not always a main consideration in Caribbean Latin cooking where taste trumps all. Golden Pine, also called Pino de Oro, is not a destination eatery. If you are in the Copiague vicinity, though, it is a worthy dining choice. The venue is comfortable, welcoming, and the staff is very engaging.
