I really enjoy Firehouse Subs. I’m a little fussy in how I like my subs and was pleasantly surprised to find a sub that is served ‘hot’ with a variety of toppings including mushrooms! This is strictly subs – the luncheon variety, no breakfast subs or takes on other types of food. The soda machine is awesome! You can chose from a huge variety of options. The decor is pure firehouse with many local references and the two managers Joe and Mark are great. It is my ‘ go to’ place for a sub. Give it a try.
Will give them another shot. I went to Firehouse Subs for lunch to see how they compared to other chain sub shops. I ordered a steak and cheese sub. It tasted very good, but the first thing I noticed when I picked it up was how light it was. This was not a hearty sub. The taste was better than Subway, but it seems that even Subway gives you more bang for the buck as far as how much meat you get, which isn’t saying much.I was hoping it would be more like DiBello’s (DiBello’s gives you FAR more for your money than Firehouse) and less like Subway, but in all honesty, it was a step above Subway in taste but a step below Subway in value.I will go back and try a cold cut sub to see if it was just the Steak sub that has skimpy amounts of meat.
Clarence?. I will be trying it soon – the menu looks great! I believe that its actually located in the Town of Clarence. It may have a Williamsville mailing address, but is located within the physical boundaries of the Town of Clarence.
It’s accually in Williamsville near maple, not depew.
Good food. Went the other day for the first time. Food was great, the soda selection was crazy( I would guess 50+ flavors), and they had about 20 different hot sauces to choose from if you so desired. I would go again
