If you think their food is good, I feel very sorry for you. You are missing out on what good food really is. I had breakfast, scrambled eggs, French toast and bacon, and a coffee. Food came out fast, but was extremely disappointing. It wasn’t terrible, it just wasn’t good. Eggs should be light and fluffy, French toast should be light and taste of egg and sweetness and butter. Theirs did not. The icing on the cake, was the cashier trying to skim an extra dollar off of me when I cashed out. She was an older woman, may have been an owner, my bill was for $8.43, I did not have cash on me so I had to use my debit card; she asked if I wanted to add tip, I said yes, $3(a very generous tip) and she gave me a receipt to sign for $12.43. I told her the total was wrong, she immediately apologized and gave me the extra dollar in cash. She knew exactly what she had done, but claimed she had added 8+3 incorrectly. Go back to elementary school and send your cooks to a culinary 101 at ecc or someplace. I will never give your establishment another dime, ever.

I have been coming to hillview since high school with friends and it’s always great. They have recently remodeled and it now has a modern updated look, with the same great food. I would recommend for breakfast or lunch with friends or a quick dinner.
Good breakfast. I came here before my flight because it was close to the airport. I had the omelette which included steak and salsa – it was really good and so were the potatoes! The server was real nice too. My only complaint is that they don’t brew real iced tea and they serve Nestea/Lipton out of the tap. Gross. This seemed like a place popular with old people. The location reminded me of Village Inn.
