We waited at least 20 minutes for a table while we watched an empty and clean table just sit there. The hostess wasn’t helpful. We got the very minimal amount of service from our waitress. When we told her we were ready to order, she told us to wait because the kitchen is backed up. No restaurant should have to tell a customer that. She only took our orders and never checked on us. The food took forever, especially considering we were one of the only ones there. By the time our food came, we had watched another table come in, eat, and leave already. A manager told us the wait was due to people ordering their special dish that night but that’s not an excuse. If that dish causes that long of a wait, it shouldn’t be offered.
Never had a bad meal… Great atmosphere, good service, and lively entertainment on Saturday nights with karaoke! Don’t miss it!
Tonight was the first and the last time that I ea at Billy Bob’s . I had wings and mac-cheese. The worse mac-cheese I ever ate. The sauce on the wings (sweet and sticky) was no better. A waste of $15. You’ll be better off going to Buffalo Wild Wings or just ordering some from Sal’s Pizza. Do not go here.
Potential. As a southern girl, I’m always excited when I see BBQ on the menu. After hearing an ad for Billy Bob’s on the radio, I had to give it a try. The atmosphere was a good start! Like BBQ, the atmosphere was casual and the wait staff friendly. We started with an order of Buffalo wings and a couple of cold beers. While the wings reminded me more of sweet heat, they were tasty and cooked perfectly. We followed the wings with two BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, one with an order of onion rings. Now, one would expect the BBQ sandwich to be the highlight of the evening but it was a huge disappointment!! Instead of letting the meat speak for itself, it was buried in so much sauce that it appeared more like soup. Both my companion and I started laughing, wondering why four sauces had been put on our table earlier. I spent more time soaking up sauce with the bun and tossing it aside than eating. Yuck!! The place definitely has potential but needs some fine tuning.
Happy Holidays to the best BBQ in town!. Awesome! Great food, service, atmosphere! You won’t go there just once.
We’ve been there a few times now. Each time the service was excellent and the beers on tap paired well with the handcrafted sauces. The pulled pork and brisket were tender and delicious. Will definitely be back.
