Good food, horrendous service. We waited an hour and twenty minutes for our appetizer. When I asked about our entrees, the response was curt and rude. I suppose the food was good, but nothing tastes good when served with rudeness!
Amazing Food, Service, Ambience. We were thrilled to find this lovely restaurant so close to Pleasant Valley. The building itself is pleasing to the eyes. We were greeted by friendly professional staff who all seemed to have the gift of reading our thoughts. Drinks, salads, desserts, coffee all delivered to our table with smooth perfection. All the dishes we ordered were served in a very well plated manner and everything was delicious.We were served crusty homemade rolls with a side of herbed butter and white bean tepanade. This was a pleasant surprise that I believe they do for all guests. Our meals all began with a beautifully fresh green salad (the creamy italian dressing is sooooo good). The meals at our table were a seafood mixed grill with large tender exquisitely seasoned shrimp, sea scallops and fillet, Chicken Francaise the filled the dish with tender chicken fillet, and creamy penne ala vodka with procuitto (a nice touch). We were are treated so very well and well fed. All of us took home half our meal for another time. We will be back.
Fantastic food and staff. J Dominick’s Trattoria has the best food and the staff is fantastic. We have been going for years and we never ever had a bad meal. Everything is so good, I make sure I take my left overs home so I enjoy it again the next day.
Love, Love This Restaurant. What more can I say. Our absolutely favorite restaurant. When closed for vacation we are in such a dilemma where to eat on Saturday night. Always the freshest food cooked to perfection and service is above and beyond. Have made so many friends through this restaurant because you are always meeting people who enjoy the restaurant as much as we do. Thank you J. Dominick’s!

There is no other restaurant like J.Dominicks! The food is outstanding, the service is excellent, and the owners are amazing people. Love love love this place!!! Once you eat here you won’t go anyplace else!
Phenomenal food and service!!!. Been there quite a few times and EVERY single time we get nothing but delicious fresh food and an amazing wait staff!! It’s our FAVORITE restaurant and we look forward to going every single time! We have NEVER been disappointed and always leave full!! Hint: go hungry, because you get a lot of food! They are always accommodating and a real pleasure to see when we go! Prices are very reasonable….and worth every penny!!! I have noticed on a few occasions, when the food comes out (which is fast, you don’t wait too long) that people sitting at other tables always look to see and ask what others have ordered. Everything looks and tastes delicious! You WON’T be disappointed! Trust us on that!!
