When it’s crowded the ambiance is shattered by the dreadful acoustics. Food vg but head banging noise.I would hope that the noise level can be lowered. Food and service are very good.Don’t compromise the experience.
New chef – New Menu – Tapas and more. We heard about the new chef at Le Express and stopped with our gang of six for some tapas at the bar. The new menu focuses on small plates. We tried a poached pheasant egg and goat cheese ravioli, a chicken liver pate with pickled ramps, poached lobster claws, smoked trout, duck confit, roasted beet salad. The chicken wings are – most definitely – out of place. Great new kitchen, same great bar, nice atmosphere. We will most definitely be back. northcountryrambler.com
