I go to Perkins all the time. I am sad to say that I may not go back for a while. Today when I went I ordered the 7oz sirloin steak streaked veggies which was very good. Their was an option to add on a side of shrimp for $1.99. Me only being able to only eat a select of things bec of my condition i can not eat things that consist any type of breads and most starchy carby things wanted to add on the shrimp. The menu stated fried but I distinctly ordered grilled shrimp. When my food arrived I noticed that it was a butterfly breaded deep fried shrimp side. I was noticeably disappointed. I did tell the waitress that I thought that was what the menu said but regardless I ordered it grilled. I have waitresses for years and have a lot of experience in customer service and that is what I do for employment now. If I can’t eat it whether I was wrong or not you never ever argue with a customer. I told her nicely that it was no big deal, but that I just could physically not eat it. She took her time to grab a menu and put it in my face as I was eating just so she could prove me wrong. I then said to her yes I see but I ordered it grilled. She then asked me what do you want me to do about it. I said ummm well I am not paying for it. Idc where you work it should have been a no charge or you could have just brought me out what I ordered?!? Hello Not to mention where I was sitting I could see straight to the kitchen. The cook cooking in the back had a glove just on his left hand and was putting food in and out of the microwave with his bare hand and putting the food directly onto the plates. Let alone I was very surprised to see how much they actually use the microwave especially with foods that can be cooked in any typical restaurant.
