This is the absolute worst Thai food I have ever eaten. We started off with the spring rolls which were dry and burnt. Then after waiting for 40 minutes our entrees came out. I got the pad see eww. It was bland, watery, and beared resemblance to dirty toilet water. My friend ordered fried rice. I though that at least would be edible. I was wrong. It came with stringy imitation crab meat, weird tasting shrimp, and blocks of chicken. It was also flavorless. They charged us almost $20 each and then were bitchy about splitting the check. To top it all off I now feel sick from eating the little bits of noodles I managed to fish out of the watery mess of a dish. DO NOT EAT HERE!
This is an addendum to my review above… my husband just reminded me of this… we had ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and the shrimp had a funny flavor. We set the remaining shrimp on the side of the platter and called the waitress over and told her the shrimp tasted funny… you’re not gonna believe this, we almost didn’t believe our own eyes… she picked up a shrimp off our platter and tasted it! Never seen that in a restaurant before… thank goodness! And the kicker is, she then told us the shrimp wasn’t really bad, it had just swum in some dirty water… uh… Makes me say YUK! We no longer patronize this restaurant.26 Sep, 2011When this restaurant first opened it was good. The first time I ordered their Soft Shell Crab Salad it was sublime… but sadly, I have tried it three or four times subsequently and found it sometimes soggy, sometimes cold, always a disappointment after that first big YUM. And the rest of the food no longer has that fresh quality so important to Thai cooking. It seems the cooking has been turned over to minimum wage hires. Try Golden Buddha on Rte. 376, or maybe Lemongrass, opening around the corner will put this place out of its misery.
Expensive and the food and service were less than mediocre.
Great food. Go get the basil fried rice, or the pineapple fried rice.. Both are great.. Also, the curry puffs are awesome.. I usually get the vegetarian ones but either way is good..
The masuman curry and pad thai are delicous. The presentation of the pineapple fried rice is excellent. Excellent quality and tasteful decor.
