The best way to describe the Gilded Otter is to have you imagine what would happen if you built a brewpub around your brew tanks (clean shiny ones) so that no matter where you are, you can see the tanks.
Mixed Soul. The food is great. It is a great mix of cultures and flavors under one roof and on your palate. The steam buns are a real nice way to start with a group of friends , and the pulled pork is really good. For me i am simple and enjoy the rice bowls.
First encountered cupcakes from them at the annual cupcake festival, their cupcakes are delicious and their bubble tea is the best if not only in the area.
Mmmmmm. The menu is so cool, the space is so cool, and the food is soooooo good. Try new things and enjoy
Great spot. One of my favorites in Poughkeepsie. The people are cool and the menu items are all original and very good. The pulled pork is awesome there. Definitely worth checking out, and the neighborhood around there is cool to spend the afternoon, so don’t miss out…
I liked the concept of food style. The empanadas were probably the best thing on the menu. I was expecting more from the soups. I felt many items oon the nenu were bit overpriced especially compared to the quality of food. Overall, it’s an OK restaurant.
Great food!. A culinary dream right by Vassar College!!! After having the lavender lemonade with basil seeds and tapioca, the corn and goat cheese stuffed empanadas, pulled pork, and some caramlized onion, portobello mushroom and potato dumplings, I soon began to know this is one of my favorite places to eat. Knowing I was stuffed and having that feeling where i couldnt eat anymore or my stomach would bust open, I just wanted to keep ordering food because everything tasted so AMAZING!!!!!! After leaving the restaurant I soon began to think of twisting cultural foods as an art form. Great people, great food, great art, great PERIOD…4 out of 5 for me!
