Went here for breakfast one morning after a long drive. I was disappointed. The place was dirty, small, and cramped. The food wasn’t very good. I had the regular breakfast. The eggs were alright but the homefries were tasteless and bland. The bacon also was disgusting. I know it’s diner food, but this was a poor experience and I will not be returning. Not to mention it wasn’t exactly cheap either. $40 for four people.
Excellent service and inexpensive good food. My friend, daughter, and I wandered into Charlie’s 2 minutes before closing. We did not realize that they were closed for the night, but the waitress pleasantly sat us anyways and encouraged us to take our time as she would be there cleaning for a couple hours. We placed our order quickly as to not inconvenience the kitchen and it came out quickly. Our waitress was kind, friendly, pleasant, and accommodating the entire time. The homemade bread was wonderful and the bill for 2 people was less than $11.00. You cant beat that! Will certainly come back.
