Great Ribs. Wednesday nite and the place was packed. Server was quick and good and the food was wonderful. Will be returning again for the Ribs.
GREAT barbecue. Service isn’t fantastic but here’s a tip: get over it and get your fingers full of BBQ sauce. Ribs, pork, chicken, cornbread, all very good. If you’re looking for vegan options this isn’t the place for you, and it doesn’t have to be so that’s not a valid complaint.

Large Group Well Served. A group of eleven of us (with reservations) arrived for a 5:30 seating on a recent Saturday night. We were quickly seated and drink orders taken and served within a few minutes. After our dinner orders were taken by a well experienced server, we were served within 30 minutes–all meals hot and exactly as ordered! This all happened while every seat in the place was taken. Kudos to ALL the staff at Al E Oops. Excellent treatment such as this makes us all want to return–and we shall!
Not good!. Visited on a Wednesday night about 6pm. Had Caesar’s special #4 which was 6 large shrimp cocktail, 6 ounce filet mignon, & caesar salad. I new the filet would be small, but it didn’t even resemble in any way a filet mignon. It had fat and grizzle on it and seemed to be re-heated. It was overcooked and tasted like a leather shoe. The shrimp was large, but did not taste fresh, it seemed water logged. The caesar salad tasted like bagged salad that wasn’t fresh either to include packaged croutons and sprinked parmesan cheese on top. That’s a caesar salad? The waitress was mediocre and could have cared less whether or not we liked our meal, never even asked.The other person in my party enjoyed his turkey dinner. Unless he makes me go back I do not care to return. I had a hard time stomaching paying the $43 bill we had, especially when it tasted so lousy.
This was our first time being there in many years and the place is soo outdated, it was raining when we went and as we were walking up we realized the covered area is coverered with a trampoline like material and water was pooling then dumping down on us. when we did go in we were seated right away and I found out that thankfully they have free refills. The decor reminds me of a poorly done saloon, you see holes where the old lighting was and the heater vents are dirty. It really needs a renovation to bring it back. Our food wasn’t anything exciting it tasted very bland. would not recommend a revisit. over priced for what it is, Bw’s BBQ is much better and more updated.
