My meal was decent. Service was fine. Husbands meal not so great. The chicken kabob was kind gross. Certainly didn’t taste like chicken.
My husband and I have been going here for years. In the past several months or so the owner has been making simple changes to improve the food and appearance. They have good creative specials and great standard menu. You defiantly get what you pay for and more!
The food was ok, not great. The service was brutally SLOW! If you have over an hour to sit and wait for a simple fish fry, be my guest, I don’t. The problem is in the kitchen, not with the servers. Get the lead out guys!! I won’t go back, there are too many other area restaurants that do it better.
Cheap meals, large portions. I ended up at Athens a few nights ago because I was in the area and looking for a place where I could get something healthy but still get in and out quickly. I had a chicken caesar salad and was pleasantly surprised at how large the plate was. I would definitely return for the friendly service and inexpensive meals.
