Usually I love coming in to Bagel Jay’s for a tuna bagel sandwich, but today my experience was anything but pleasant. I ordered a tuna sandwich on a bagel as usual and moved down towards the cash register. The girl making my sandwich was very pleasant but when I got to the register the mood changed. I ordered a tap water and told the girl at the cash register what I had ordered. An older woman I’ve seen before got me my tap water and filled it halfway, I’m guessing because she wasn’t happy with the fact that I didn’t want pop or bottled water. Her mannerisms were extremely rude and she didn’t say thank you or have a great day. My friend ordered a coffee, tap water, and sandwich as well and got even less water than I did. His was also almost $10 for a small sandwich, coffee, and tap water. I wasn’t happy with how we were treated and the older woman even gave my friend his receipt with quite an unnecessary amount of attitude. We were not impressed and definitely will not be returning to any bagel jays after the awful customer service we received. I was truly offended and they lost two loyal customers over a cup or tap water, but understood why It was so empty in there after being served with that attitude. Work on smiling and maybe this won’t happen with others in the future.

The 1st time I went there I ordered 3 pizza bagels and when I went home I realized that none had pepperoni on them so I called the store and they told me they didn’t carry pepperoni! Today I ordered another pizza bagel with pepperoni (magically they had pepperoni), another deli bagel, two drinks and two bags of chips. Instead of a turkey bagel I got a buffalo chicken bagel and instead of a Pepsi I got a diet Pepsi. I was given no bag to carry two bagels and two bags of chips in. When I got my drinks I was offered no carrying tray. When I asked for a carrying tray I was scowled at and told that the carrying trays didn’t work. Never going anywhere near this place again!!!!

Bad food, Bad service. DONT EAT AT THIS PLACE!I used to order alot from this place, We ordered $20.00 + in Chicken Salad bagels and the salad had bones and all kinds of crap in it. So I called to ask them if they could issue a credit for our next purchase. The guy in charge, I think his name was Tim was a total tool. He wanted me to drive 20 mins and bring the Chicken grizzle back to him to prove the Chicken salad was bad. I told him he just lost a customer and he hung up on me before I could even finish. DONT EAT AT THIS PLACE!Not only that but it appears they forgot to renew their web site domain name and now someone else bought it and uses it as spam – good! Poorly run business!!

!!!. Tim Hortons bagels are sub-par. They are mass produced and generally flavorless. Dawn must be Canadian if she prefers Tim Hortons Bagels over any other bagel.Go to Bagel Jay’s.

Totally disagree with Dawn. Bagels are same size and fresher. Local business not chain so of course you’ll pay more. Love the sahlens ham sandwich on an everything bagel. Watch for coupons in mailers like Valpak etc to get the most for your money. Would recommend them to everyone!

Very expensive for crummy food. I just went to Bagel Jay’s because the line at Tim Hortons drivethru was out to the street. I got an egg, cheese and bacon on an everything bagel. The total was $3.80. For $1.21 more at Tim Hortons I would have also gotten an extra large coffee and a muffin. The Bagel Jay’s bagels are very small (much smaller than Tim Hortons) and really don’t taste very good. Very disappointed!!!!!
