Service good. Food fair.. Had a bacon cheeseburger for lunch today. I hadn’t been there before. The toppings and bun were good but the actual hamburger meat was greasy and chewy. I wish Fuddruckers would come back, they were the gold standard for fast food burgers.The service, however, is very friendly. I wish all fast food places would train their employees like this place does. I would only come back for that reason and to try the ice cream.

Good Food Good Service Great Custard. Being from Rochester I grew up on Bill Gray’s. I really enjoy their everything cheeseburger that has ketchup, mustard, relish, hot sauce and onions. As another review said, the burgers are thin, but I think they are full of flavor. The cheese is always gooey and the hard rolls are always soft and chewy. They are great at honoring coupons, even expired ones. I like their onion rings and fries (thick cut). The Abbotts custard is really dense and creamy and flavorful. The chocolate and chocolate almond are awesome. I highly recommend this place!
Two thumbs up!. The decor of Bill Gray’s is a cross between a sports bar and Anderson’s. We both ordered the mushroom swiss burgers, fries and loganberry. Liked the fact that they served Aunt Rosie’s Loganberry. Liked even better they let you refill (unlimited) from the self serve fountain. Our mushroom swiss burgers were excellent. You can taste that the beef is of excellent quality and is fresh. They were quite messy but the good kind of messy. The fries were hot and crispy. They reminded me of Ore Ida fries that my gram used to make as a bedtime snack. The bonus was they let us use a coupon that was for a different item (the plain burger) for the items we actually ordered. In a day where customer service is basically non-existant this was a nice surprise. I will definitely be returning. Also for those who are gluten free, they also offer sweet potato fries, served with honey. Excellent.
Neutral – Meal or dessert?. The burger was disappointing – on the thin side and greasy with not too much flavor. The custard, on the other hand, was tasty – good serving size and plenty of sliced almonds in the chocolate. Skip the meal offerings, go for a custard. Both are filling.
