Big Let Down. Have been there before, several times, nice place, good atmosphere. I have experienced long wait times at the bar for drinks, and bad table service, but I enjoy the Karoke enough to put up with it. BUT this past Saturday was the clincher for me and my friends. I arrived to meet up with a group of friends, 6 of them already there. About 8 of us in all to have a good time, but boy was this a big disappointment. They shut down the Karoke at 9:00 instead of the advertised 10:00. The reason I was told was because there were not enough people sitting at the bar! excuse me, I have never been to a restaurant or bar that closed down early because there were not enough people there. Like we were inconveniencing them by being there. This made my group of friends petty upset because this location is not convenient by any means. We traveled a great distance to attend that establishment. There were about 20 people in all sitting at the tables. We went out of our way to attend this Karoke, planned our night around this, ready to enjoy ourselves, and we were kicked out! I felt like we were 2nd class citizens after supporting them for months and months. This tells me that Billy Baroo’s does not care about their customers at all. We will not be back!
The most underrated wings around. They have a ton of different flavors, the Cajun are my favorite. Pretty cool atmosphere in the bar, the new owners have re decorated as a German Biergarten. A friend of mine plays in the dart league on Thursday nights and it’s usually a good crowd. I would recommend checking it out
New management here has definitely changed the stuffy overpriced vibe. Sunday’s have great happy hour specials all day, and Thursday nights are not only busy, but a lot of fun with the dart league they started. Great menu, specials, and staff…
Stopped in for a couple drinks and wings after hitting some golf balls. Wings and service were good. The waitress doubled as the bartender but did well keeping up. Very friendly. Hope to head back for the fish fry as our waitress told us it was good, will let you know if she is right!
Great Sandwiches. We went to Billy Baroos even after reading the ridiculous first reviews. We are foodies so we were sceptical of what we were in for. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. All the food was fantastic. She had a French Dip that was loaded with thinly sliced lean roast beef and the dipping sauce was nicely spiced. I had a Rachel which is a turkey rueben with coleslaw instead of kraut. The turkey was cut off the restaurant roasted breast and the rye bread was nice and just the right thickness. The house chips and waffle fries are excellent. We will go back and bring our friends.
Had a terrible time! Service was very slow, they forgot my meal at our table of 8, and the entire place smells! The waitresses were nice but inept. We will not be back 🙁
