We were refused service. Couldn’t believe it. New to area and would’ve put in a lot of miles there. Place was mostly empty and we were completely snubbed no matter what we did. Couldn’t win for losing. We’re friendly folks, and there was no interaction. Just refused service and ignored until we left. Long time locals only I guess. Clearly won’t be back.
GREAT LOCAL BAR W/FOOD. This place is within walking distance of our house. We’ve gone there for lunch in the summer after garage sale-ing, or for dinner. When they fire up the big exhaust fan, the neighborhood must start salivating. The food is excellent–yes, the steak sandwich or the grill-finished wings. We go with our 14226 friends, or out of town guests. Everyone likes it. We’ve only been going for the last 15 yrs., but I think many other people consider it a local institution.

Excellent eatery. As my 45 plus years as an eatiologist PHD my taste buds have never experienced a more pleasureable feast of food, and dink. BONSAI ! Top service, quick meals, and cheap. My favorite the kobe mongoose burger.
Best steak sandwich in town. Great burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings.
