We’ll be back!. Had dinner at your restaurant tonight. We had an amazing time,the service and food was outstanding! Our waitress was very attentive,during a very busy evening! I’m so glad we saved room for dessert! All ofyour food was of the highest quality! I’m glad we made the choice to come tothe Gate House Grill!!
Great food! I’ll be back!. My wife and I went here for restaurant week and I am SO glad we did! It did exactly what restaurant week is supposed to do…let you experience new restaurants. We did and we will most definitely be back! I highly recommed.
Gate House Thanksgiving. For various reasons, we needed a place to have dinner on Thanksgiving (we’ll be doing the turkey Saturday). Long story short, we thought we’d try The Gate House, one of few options open. We’re very glad we did. Everything just great. It was packed but cozy; we got a table near the back as we were last minute. A certain light by a service stand bothered my wife (who gets migraines) and we were easily and cheerfully moved to a suitable corner location. While most we’re having a great-looking turkey dinner, we chose: stuffed shrimp, salmon, and chicken marsala. All were first rate. Desserts may seem pricey at 8.95, but if ours was indication, more than worth it; made on the premises, our chocolate torte (don’t have exact description) was amazing. Martini while waiting at the copper-topped bar was perfect, and I’m fussy (she listened to all my requirements there no problem, and made it exactly to order). We’ll return. Thank you Gate House for a great Thanksgiving!
Not great. Visited restaurant a few weeks ago with friends for a Saturday evening dinner. Ordered bottle of wine which waitress could not open, we had to open it for her, cork was dry, wine was ok. Waited quite some time for waitress to take order after wine was served, ordered off of the specials board, never again, the specials were mostly German food, sausages, schnitzel and beef dish, not prepared well and very bland. Chicken rockefeller was acceptable. Again had to wait awhile for the waitress to return to clear the table and then she asked if we wanted to have dessert, we just wanted to get out of there. Both parties said they would not return.
Food is excellent.hostess / owner needs a better attitude not warm at all feel like your at fast food restaurent

Went there for the second time with my husband. Our server was great!! He was friendly and very efficient. The food was excellent. Great little restuarant. Check it out.
