Great New Dinner Menu. My wife and I love Gertie’s Restaurant! It a quaint restaurant with great food and an impressive wine selection. The new full dinner menu now offers something for everyone. Make sure you save room for dessert or take one home for later. Great place to eat at anytime of day!
Nice dining. My husband and I had a very nice quiet dinner at Gerties. The food was delish and the service was excellent. Definitely a return destination! Good food, good prices and good service, a good restaurant.
Such a great location, adorable decor and a great outdoor patio. The staff is also warm and friendly. I enjoyed my meal but i do have a few comments. The selection is very small especially for dinner, i would really like to see more specials. Also during our meal we noticed the man behind the bar scolding a waitress infront of us, definetly a negative, i was embarassed for her. We will be coming back, especially for the amazing scones.
Good but limited menu. We go to gerties all the time and always have a wonderful experience, but sometimes for dinner their is just too small of a selection. One night my family and I were dinning there and they had run out of two items on their dinner menu. This left us with very little to choose from as far as dinner goes. Other than that the staff is always wonderful and the food is great.
The food at gerties is amazing! . the restaurant has a nice outdoor patio. there is modern decor. the food there is great. I had the margarita pizza which was delicious! I also had the turkey classic…which is also very delicious. I would totally go there again. the desserts there are amazing! the cookie sundae is very good. and the scones are great! all of the food is presented nicely. the staff is friendly. try it.
Limited Menu but Delicious Food. Finally! This location is blessed with another great restaurant. Gerties is located where the long since departed Fredi’s used to be. Be warned, they will take reservations only for parties of 6, or more. The have a beautiful patio, full service bar, fresh baked goods (made in-house), and very friendly staff. The dining room is small, but could easily accommodate a large party. Let’s get to the menu. Yes, it is limited, but certainly not lacking. There is something for everyone. I had the Eggplant Gratin, which was baked in Marinara sauce. Delicious! Others had the French-style quiche (scrumptious), the Gertie Burger (giant! tasty!), Oven Baked Haddock, and the Chicken Pesto sandwich (also giant and excellent). Needless to say we were satisfied. Unfortunately, none of us had room for dessert. Maybe next time. My boyfriend and I were so impressed; we decided to make the trip back for breakfast, the following morning. It wasn’t a surprise – all my expectations were met. I had delicious steel-cut oats, which were beautifully presented with a variety of toppings. My boyfriend had the house-made granola with milk and fruit. He enjoyed every bite. I was very pleased with their healthy selections. I get very discouraged with the typical breakfast fare, seen at other restaurants. They have a kids menu with Chocolate Mice (whaaat?). I want chocolate mice for breakfast. Awesome!! It’s a nice drive out the Clarence Center and worth every penny. I am so happy they’ve opened and I wish them the best of luck. We’ll be back for more.Oh! I almost forgot. Saturday night German Night. I don’t know, but it sounds intriguing. Strap on your Lederhosen and check it out!
Delicious Discovery. Its wonderful to discover an eating place where the food is both carefully and flavorfully prepared and the people greeting, serving, cooking, and overseeing are delightful to encounter and be around. Gerties’ atmosphere is both casual and classy. Attention to details in all aspects of their prep and presentation make for unique, creative and very delicious food. We will return again and again.Can’t wait for the next German night!
